Séverine and Morgan have created a truly special place, built around sustainable tourism and a genuine respect for nature. Every detail, from the thoughtful use of natural materials to the peaceful riverside setting, reflects their passion for preserving the beauty of the Okavango.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Séverine and the entire team. Our beautifully decorated luxury tent was exceptionally comfortable, and the terrace overlooking the Gomoti River was the perfect place to relax. Falling asleep to the sounds of hippos was an unforgettable experience.

As the first stop on our Botswana road trip, Semowi was the perfect introduction to the country, its incredible nature and the warm hospitality of its people. We couldn’t have wished for a better start and wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Everything was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared and impeccably maintained. The peaceful setting, with its magnificent views over the river, is incredibly relaxing.

The meals were outstanding, made even more special by the fresh ingredients produced right here at Semowi, including eggs, goat’s milk and vegetables from the garden. The attentive team completed a truly memorable dining experience.

You should stay here. Seriously. Semowi offers incredible value, and every detail reflects the care and passion of the people behind it. Don’t miss the restaurant, enjoy the sunrise from the beautiful terrace, and treat yourself to some of the best food we had in Botswana. The staff are warm and professional, and the chef’s passion shines through in every meal. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Don’t look any further. Semowi is a truly special place, created with love and care in a peaceful corner of the Okavango Delta. Even the journey there is part of the adventure, crossing seasonal waterways and winding through sandy tracks before arriving at this hidden oasis.

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and every moment felt relaxed and welcoming. If you have the chance, don’t miss a morning visit to Elephant Havens. It’s an unforgettable experience.

Before we arrived, we received clear driving directions, and we were warmly welcomed by the team. Our campsite was spacious, had electricity, and the facilities were spotless and felt brand new.

The restaurant, overlooking the river, quickly became one of our favourite places. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner there because the food was simply delicious, and breakfast the next morning, with fresh bread, homemade jam, eggs and beans, was the perfect start to the day.

The drive is part of the adventure and is easily manageable with a 4×4.
