Close to nature
Experience the true Africa
Semowi Farm is home to a variety of animals, insects, birds, plants, trees and nature. The farm strives for sustainability by being self-sufficient as much as possible. We create our own electricity from the sun, we grow our vegetables, herbs, and fruits and have fresh eggs every day. Our goal is to disturb the natural enviroment as little as possible. We are invited here, it is wild life home.

Sunrise on the river
Imagine waking up early in the morning to the call of an African sunrise. You step outside onto your deck and lie back among pillows on a chair, watching it wash over you. The sounds of nature all around you – birds, crickets and hippos – sing your praises as the sun sends us its rays through trees and leaves. Wait with anticipation for those first powerful shafts of light that pierce the dark hues of night…that is Semowi!
