{ Best campsite we had in Botswana. Great place in a fantastic area. Severine & Morgan and their staff do everything they can to ensure you have a fantastic time. From the restaurant (good food!) you have a nice view over the river with a beautiful sunrise. We will definitely come back here if we go to Botswana again. {

{ A fantastic location, exceptional staff and incredible value. Everything at Semowi reflects the care and attention of Séverine and Morgan, whose passion for creating a memorable guest experience shines through in every detail. The view from the terrace is the perfect place to relax after a day on the road. We stayed at the campsite, and the ablution facilities were the cleanest we found anywhere in Botswana. Semowi is a true hidden gem and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Just make sure you arrive with a 4x4! {

{ The campsite is spacious, beautifully laid out and exceptionally well maintained. The modern ablution facilities are spotless, and a sandy path winds through the trees to the river, where a beautiful wooden terrace overlooks the Gomoti River and its resident hippos. Séverine and Morgan were incredibly welcoming, always available to help and happy to share their local knowledge. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Okavango. {

{ First of all: We can definitely recommend staying here. About the camp: The bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean, the showers had hot water, and there is a beautiful terrace with a restaurant and a fire pit. It's the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunrises. Breakfast was also served on the terrace and was absolutely delicious. Everything was simply perfect from start to finish. To the team: We would also like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff. You were a tremendous help to us in every situation, and we are incredibly grateful. Thanks to you, we always felt safe and completely at home at the camp. Thank you for all your support. It is truly not something to be taken for granted. Thank you for everything! If we ever come back to Botswana, we will definitely come and visit you again. Warmest regards, Niklas & Janina {

{ The approach from the main road is quite a way, but we found it without any problems thanks to the good description. But then you really have peace and quiet and are surrounded by nature. The view of the river from the main deck is very nice. We even had an elephant right next to the campsite. If you want to run a lot of errands in Maun, perhaps not ideal due to the journey, in this case you might want to look for something more central. {

{ Semowi Nature Camp is truly an exceptional campsite and a place you shouldn't miss on your journey through Botswana! Even the drive to get there is worth the experience. The camp is located a little outside Maun, offering complete peace and quiet in the heart of nature. When we arrived, we were even visited by an elephant at the fence that evening! Séverine and Morgan do everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. The food at the on-site restaurant is fantastic, you can relax on the beautiful terrace overlooking the river, or prepare your own meal at one of the three private campsites. Everything is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. If camping isn't your style, there are also four beautiful luxury safari tents. Our children especially loved the adorable goats! Thank you for an unforgettable stay! Noteworthy details: Surrounded by nature beside the Gomoti River, where hippos can often be heard, the camp is protected by an electric fence to safely keep larger wildlife outside. {

{ We spent two wonderfully peaceful days at the Semowi campsite. The campsite was clean, spacious and equipped with its own fire pit. We loved the beautiful views over the river, the sounds of wildlife at night and the incredible star-filled sky while relaxing around the campfire. The traditional Botswana dishes served on the restaurant terrace were absolutely delicious, and the team was warm, friendly and always ready to help. Morgan and Séverine shared excellent advice for our journey to Khwai and Moremi, and we enjoyed learning more about Botswana's culture and traditions through our conversations with them. It was a truly memorable stay. {

{ Semowi Nature Camp is a very special place and one of our favorite stops on our 3 week road trip. We had a 4x4 with a tent on top. The camp is run by a couple and they are truly wonderful people. It was really nice sitting and talking with both of them and learning more about how they started the camp and their passions. The place is like a little oasis with an on site restaurant, a beautiful deck with a view and really nice and clean bathrooms. The camp site is close to others but still spacious and has its own camp fire. Everything is within a short walking distance. The drive to the camp is quite long with lots of winding turns. It's an adventure! I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's lovely and getting to know the owners is a treat. Oh, also, the restaurant serves delicious and local food! {

{ I cannot praise this place enough. We stayed in 13 different campsites during our time in Botswana and Namibia and this was one of our absolute favourites. The location is tranquil and relaxed. The drive from Maun was beautiful (we spotted elephants, hippos etc just in the short trip). It's close enough to Maun that we were collected on externally booked trips and could drive into Maun for shopping easily but far enough to avoid the busy, noisy town. The accommodation is spotless with so many wonderful details to make you feel thoroughly spoiled. The staff are so wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was just delicious. Wonderful location for the restaurant too. We travelled as a family (2 adults and children aged 10 and 11) and felt so relaxed here. The children adored the goats which they could have stroked and fed all day. Thoroughly thoroughly recommend. You will not be disappointed. {
